Frequently Asked Questions

  • We love sharing the practice of yoga with new practitioners! If this is your first class, please let your teacher know so they can offer modifications and guidance to make your experience more enjoyable.

If you have an injury or are recovering from one, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before starting yoga. Additionally, please inform your teacher before class so they can tailor the session to your needs.

  • We recommend wearing light, comfortable clothing that allows for movement and flexibility. Choose fabrics that breathe to help you stay cool and comfortable during your practice.

Be sure to bring a water bottle and towel for your session.

Yoga is practiced barefoot, so there’s no need for shoes.

  • While we don’t offer dedicated prenatal classes, we recommend speaking with your doctor before starting yoga during pregnancy, especially if you're new to the practice.

If you’ve been practicing yoga before your pregnancy, it’s generally safe to continue, as long as you have medical clearance from your healthcare provider.

  • Yoga can be a wonderful practice for healing and overall well-being. However, if you're dealing with a specific injury, we strongly recommend consulting with a healthcare professional to ensure it's safe for you to practice.

In our experience, a physically intense yoga practice may not be suitable if you're currently in pain or recovering from an injury. It's important to listen to your body and adapt your practice accordingly.
